'Konsert Indiescovery 2026' unites four Malaysian indie big boys at Zepp KL on July 18


Malaysia is set to witness a night anticipated to be one of the most awaited indie concerts of the year as 'Konsert Indiescovery 2026' brings together four iconic names on one historic stage.

The Zepp Kuala Lumpur stage will witness another historic moment in the nation's music industry with the organisation of the 'Indiescovery 2026' Concert, scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

This super concert is presented by organiser RR Music with full support from the Ministry of Communications and MyCreative Ventures Group.

Carrying the theme of exploration and appreciation of local independent (indie) music, the 'Indiescovery 2026' Concert will bring together four major names that have had an extraordinary influence in shaping the country's indie and alternative music landscape. The lineup of iconic artists confirmed to rock the stage that night includes:

Butterfingers – Will perform a special set in conjunction with their iconic album, "Transcendence X Butter Worth Pushful."

Bunkface – The nation's pop-punk icons, known for their incredible performance energy and chart-topping hits.

Bittersweet – Pioneers of local brit-pop with a dynamic style and unique musical aesthetic.

Masdo – A crowd-favorite band that has successfully revived retro pop nuances with a modern touch.

The lineup this time is described as one of the most "must-watch" for local music fans. Butterfingers will deliver a special performance in conjunction with their iconic album, “Transcendence X Butter Worth Pushful,” thus bringing back the aura of the alternative legends who once shaped Malaysia's underground music landscape.

Bunkface, the nation's pop-punk icons, are expected to rock the stage with extraordinary performance energy and popular songs that are widely sung. Bittersweet arrives with an emotional identity and nostalgic nuances close to the hearts of local indie fans, besides being known as pioneers of local Brit-pop with their distinctive musical style.

Meanwhile, Masdo will bring a modern retro touch that has successfully captured the hearts of the new generation of Malaysian music fans.
