Sustainable Food Camp 2026 (SFC2026), organised by Sustainable Food Asia, successfully brought together 143 participants from 8 countries and 74 companies for a full day of cross-border dialogue, collaboration, and action toward a more sustainable food future.

Unlike traditional conferences, SFC 2026 prioritized tangible outcomes through discussion-driven sessions, focused workshops, and curated business matching. The camp addressed three urgent regional priorities:
Health Access, Social Responsibility, and Environmental Improvement.
These agendas guided the day’s panel discussions, networking, and collaborative sessions, focusing on some of the most urgent issues facing the food system today, from improving nutrition accessibility to reducing food waste through circular solutions, to creating food systems that are more inclusive and resilient.

“Sustainable Food Camp was created as a platform to connect the right people, ideas, and opportunities across the food ecosystem,” said Chiam Boon Lee, CEO of Sustainable Food Asia Sdn. Bhd.
“The future of food cannot be built by one company, one technology, or one country alone. It requires collaboration across sectors and borders, and SFC2026 was designed to make those connections happen in a meaningful way.”
Throughout the day, participants engaged in panel discussions and sharing sessions that highlighted not only emerging innovations, but also the practical challenges of commercialization, accessibility, distribution, and ecosystem building. The discussions reinforced a common message: Asia does not lack ideas or innovation, it needs stronger connection, alignment, and execution across systems.
SFC2026 also reflected Sustainable Food Asia’s continued commitment to bridging research, industry, and market opportunities, while supporting collaboration between Japan, Malaysia, and the wider Asian region. By bringing together decision-makers and doers in one space, the camp aimed to accelerate real outcomes that can contribute to a healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable food system.
