Myanmar Airways to resume flights to Myitkyina and Putao from April 7


YANGON: Myanmar Airways International (MAI) will resume flights to Myitkyina and Putao from April 7, according to sources.

The MAI will operate flights from Yangon to Myitkyina twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and from Yangon to Putao once a week, on Fridays.

Flights to Myitkyina will resume from April 4 and Putao from April 5, the Ministry of Transport and Communications said.

Domestic airlines such as Myanmar National Airlines, Myanmar Airways International, Mingalar Aviation Services, Mann Yadanarpon Airlines and Air Thanlwin are operating domestic flights, with priority flights to Kengtung, Tachileik, Kawthoung, Kyaukpyu, Sittway, Kalay, Homalin and Khamti, from March 25.

Currently, the Ministry of Transport and Communications has planned to resume regular services to Myitkyina on April 4 and Putao on April 5. - Eleven Media/ANN
