PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): A Cambodian civil aviation spokesperson said on Monday that air services connecting the kingdom to three transit hubs in the Middle East have experienced partial suspension or schedule adjustments.
"Due to the evolving Middle East conflict and related regional airspace developments, certain services connected through selected transit hubs in Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi have experienced partial suspension or temporary schedule adjustments," Sinn Chanserey Vutha, the secretary of state and spokesperson for the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA), said in a report released to the media.
"Passengers are advised to check directly with their airlines for updated schedules," Chanserey Vutha said.
The spokesperson assured the public and international travellers that Cambodia's aviation system remains stable and secure.
His remarks came after the tensions in the Middle East escalated as the United States and Israel have launched strikes on Iran since Feb 28. -- Bernama-Xinhua
