TVS lights up the festive season with Pesta Raya and special signature programmes


TV Sarawak (TVS) is strengthening its commitment as a dynamic national broadcaster with the launch of Pesta Raya TVS and a lineup of special programmes in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri, featuring popular drama series and special programmes for audiences nationwide.

The announcement was made at the TVS 2026 Programming press conference in Kuala Lumpur, highlighting the station’s ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality local content through strategic collaborations with both local artists and creative practitioners, while also showcasing compelling storylines and a lineup of accomplished actors.

According to TVS Head of Channel, Mohd Aizal Bin Ibrahim, the introduction of this year’s latest content forms part of TVS’ strategic plan to offer content that is fresh, relevant, and resonates with audiences across all demographics.

“TVS remains committed to delivering content that is not only entertaining but also meaningful, reflecting real-life experiences, family values, and the rich cultural diversity of our society,” he said.

Among the key titles announced is the iconic drama series “Gerak Khas 2.0”, set to premiere on 23 April 2025. Led by Datuk Yusof Haslam, the series marks the return of the popular franchise with a storyline that promises more action-packed and challenging narratives.

TVS also introduced the drama “Siti in the City” which will begin airing on 21 April 2025. Starring Sweet Qismina, Adam Lee, Puteri Aisyah, Ameer Dawi, Sharifah Zarina, and Michelle Lungan, the drama portrays modern urban life with an emotional and realistic touch.

In addition, the drama “Halalkan Aku”, featuring Nafiz Muaz, Aniq Durar, Jihaa Sham, Lana Nodin, and Nik Rifaie, delves into family conflicts and issues surrounding forced marriages. The series is scheduled to air in June 2026.

TVS will also present the serial drama series “Boneka”, starring Atiq Azman, Marc Benji, Nafiez Zaidi, Lisdawati, Fauzi Nawawi, Aleeza Kasim, Sera Melissa, Nina Smith, and Rahim Jailani.

Meanwhile, the drama “The Trap” stars Shaza Bae, Aidit Noh, Ali Reza, and Fian Ali, and is expected to capture viewers’ attention with its storyline revolving around cyber scams and online crime.

To further enhance the Aidilfitri celebrations, TVS presents Pesta Raya TVS, featuring a variety of signature special programmes, including:

* 3 Mak Dara (Season 2) – starring Raja Azura, Rita Rudaini dan Sharifah Shahora; * Inspirasi Duniamu & Pesta Raya; * Istimewa Anggun: Seri Aidilfitri; * Raya Short Film: Raya Paling Epik; * Raya Paling Epik MV

According to Mohd Aizal, this lineup of special programmes was designed to strengthen family values and togetherness, which are at the heart of the Aidilfitri celebration.

“Through Pesta Raya and these signature programmes, TVS aims to continue serving as a platform that brings families and communities together, while also providing opportunities for local creative talents to shine,” he added.

TVS will continue to strengthen its role as a national broadcaster by delivering high-quality local content, expanding strategic industry collaborations, and fully leveraging both television and digital platforms to meet the evolving needs of today’s audiences.
