Java hit by 5.7-magnitude quake: GFZ

HONG KONG: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Java, Indonesia, at 0120 GMT on Tuesday (Jan 27), the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 120.8 km, was initially determined to be at 8.07 degrees south latitude and 111.36 degrees east longitude. - Xinhua
