JAKARTA (Bernama): Aurora Gaming PH from the Philippines was crowned the new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship champions after defeating Indonesia’s Alter Ego in the Grand Final here today.

The triumph also served as sweet revenge for the Filipino side, who failed to advance to the knockout stage at the M6 World Championship held in Kuala Lumpur in 2024.

Aurora PH were in a class of their own, cruising to a dominant 4-0 victory at the Tennis Indoor Stadium, Istora Senayan, the first clean sweep in an M Series Grand Final since Filipino team Echo achieved the same feat in the M4 edition.

As champions, Aurora Gaming PH pocketed US$320,000 in prize money, while runners-up Alter Ego earned US$150,000.

Aurora’s Dylan Catipon, better known as Light, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) and received US$5,000. -- BERNAMA
