Brunei roadshow highlights importance of Asean

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A total of 171 students from Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Arabic Secondary Religious School for Girls attended the Know Asean Roadshow briefing yesterday.

Head of the International Affairs Desk, Corporate Relations Unit, Media and Corporate Communications Division of the Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office Eddy Iswandy Ismail delivered the briefing.

The students participated in the Know Asean Quiz and received prizes from the school’s Deputy Principal (Academic) Pengiran Asmady Aliudin. The roadshow aims to disseminate information about Asean and is also part of ongoing efforts to instill a spirit of patriotism and unity (Asean-ness) among the students.

The initiative also encourages students to understand Asean’s role and purpose, while strengthening ties between the department and the community, especially students who play an important role in shaping the nation’s future. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
