196,000 stimulant tablets seized in southern Myanmar

YANGON (Xinhua): Myanmar authorities have seized 196,000 stimulant tablets in the southern Bago region, the state-owned daily The Mirror reported on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint anti-narcotics task force searched a vehicle in Padaung township of the Bago region on Dec. 18 and confiscated the stimulant tablets, the report said.
