Two companies fined for road contamination in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Two companies were each recently issued a compound fine of BND2,000 by the Law Enforcement Unit of the Tutong District Office after being found in violation of the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30.

One company was fined for spilling paint on a public road, while the other was penalised for leaving sand and soil along Jalan Tutong.

Each company was given seven days to settle the fine and failure to do so will result in the case being brought to court. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
