'Found happiness again' - Car tycoon Wolfgang Porsche, 82, marries for the fourth time


BERLIN (dpa) -- Porsche supervisory board chairman Wolfgang Porsche, 82, has married his long-term partner Gabriela Of Leiningen at a private ceremony in Salzburg, their spokesman Christian Schertz confirmed to dpa on Sunday.

Schertz has asked for the couple's privacy to be respected.

The marriage is Porsche's fourth and follows his divorce from his former wife Claudia in 2023.

Of Leiningen, 62, is the daughter of entrepreneur Renate Thyssen-Henne.

Of Leiningen was once married to Karim Aga Khan IV, former imam of the Nizari Ismailis. Following divorce in 2014, she adopted the surname of her previous husband, Prince Karl-Emich of Leiningen.

Wolfgang Porsche was five when his father, Ferdinand, created the first Porsche sports car, the 356, precursor to the legendary 911. - dpa
