KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is set to witness a momentous occasion as the nation’s beloved Rock Queen, Ella, returns to the grand stage with her much-anticipated concert, “Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen”.
Scheduled for Feb 14 next year at the iconic National Stadium Bukit Jalil, the venue that has previously hosted some of the most defining moments in her illustrious career.
Organised by the esteemed Hitman Solutions and Rockqueen, this concert will prove to be one of their biggest projects, a testament to Ella’s enduring impact on Malaysian music and culture — uniting fans, artists, and the wider community in a shared experience of artistry and empathy.
The concert embraces a theme of “Peace, Love & Rindu” — three humanitarian values that reflect Ella’s commitments that transcend the stage. This concert serves as a platform to inspire and foster a movement of compassion and awareness through music.
According to Ella, despite her title as the Rock Queen, the name, Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen, was chosen not as a literal symbolism, but as a receptacle that will give a stronger and more meaningful impact.
“I will approach 60 years of age this 2026, and so, I wish to make an impact and leave a lasting legacy, particularly in the humanitarian realm. Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen is an embodiment of a movement that seeks to celebrate ‘Peace, Love & Rindu’.
“Peace” represents solidarity with the people of Gaza, “Love” highlights the pressing issue of bullying among Malaysian students, and “Rindu” pays tribute to local artists who continue to enrich the nation’s cultural landscape,” shares Ella.
"Compared to many large-scale concerts, we have ensured that this concert places people first through affordable tickets, allowing fans from all walks of life to partake in this landmark event.
“This concert is our way of giving back to the people. That’s why we chose a grand venue with accessible pricing. However, we still promise an unforgettable experience and high-quality production levels for all attendees.
Every ticket buyer will be asked to vote and choose a charity, whether it’s Peace (Persatuan Cinta Gaza Malaysia), Love (Yayasan Kebajikan Negara), or Rindu (Yayasan Kebajikan Artis Tanahair) during checkout. The chosen charity will receive RM2 for every corresponding vote,” said Rohit Rampal, CEO and Founder of Hitman Group. The lowest price for tickets is at RM39 and will be on sale from December 8.
Admitting that it has been quite a long time since she last performed at a venue as grand as National Stadium Bukit Jalil, Ella sees this as a challenge to reignite her passion. Her dedication to rock and her artistry has remained vibrant for over four decades, a testament to the spirit of a true queen of rock music.
For both lifelong followers and new admirers, Ella shares her heartfelt aspirations through two main missions.
“I hope this concert contributes meaningfully to the charities involved, and that artists, particularly, the younger generation, continue to create with integrity and purpose,” she said. “Remember to vote for ‘Peace, Love & Rindu’, I look forward to seeing all of you guys at the Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen.”
