Fire breaks out at market in northern Yangon


YANGON: A fire erupted at Danyin Kone Market on Khayebin Road in Insein Township on the night of November 26, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department.

The blaze was reported at around 8:05 pm., prompting the dispatch of four fire engines, a water tanker and auxiliary firefighters from the Insein Township Fire Department. Fire fighters were able to bring the situation under control within 21 minutes and fully extinguished the flames by 8:46 pm.
