University students cast early votes in Myanmar


YANGON: A total of 43 university students cast their votes in advance in Kyunsu Township, Myeik District, Tanintharyi Region.

At 9:15 am on November 21, at the No.1 Ward Administrator’s Office on Bogyoke Street, Kyunsu Township, 43 university students who live in Kyunsu Township and will be attending school outside the constituency cast their votes in advance for the Pyithu Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw, and Region Hluttaw.

A total of 25 people, including Myeik District Election Officer, Hlaing Bwa, Kyunsu Township Management and Administration Committee Chairman Aung San Win and general/administrative staff, Township Election Commission Sub-Office Staff Officer Moh Moh Aye and staff, No.1 Ward Electoral Sub-Office Chairman Shwe Tin and members, Chairman of Union Solidarity and Development Party for No.3 Ward Myint Wai, Kyunsu Township Myanmar Farmers Development Party People’s Hluttaw candidate Tin Oo, and Kyunsu Township National Unity Party Chairman Kyaw Soe Moe, visited the site.

Kyunsu Township is villages made up of islands that rely mainly on water travel.

In Kyunsu Township, students who will attend university are given advance voting, and 21 people have voted on November 19 and 43 on November 21, totaling 64 people. - Eleven Media/ANN
