SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/ANN): Heads up, Huntrix fans!
The world of K-pop Demon Hunters will be coming to Singapore in December with an immersive pop-up, where fans of the hit Netflix movie can try fighting demons and completing the Honmoon like Rumi, Mira and Zoey.
The pop-up, which will open first in Seoul, will be in Singapore from Dec 22 to Jan 11. It will also travel to Bangkok, Tokyo and Taipei.
At the event, fans can step into main character Rumi’s room, walk across the rooftops of traditional Korean houses called hanok, and catch a performance of the idol group Saja Boys.
They can also take home merchandise to commemorate their visit. Some of the items available for the Seoul stop include apparel, photo books and keyrings based on the songs featured in the movie, including Golden by Huntrix and Soda Pop by Saja Boys.
The location and ticketing details for the Singapore stop are yet to be released. Fans can check the KPop Demon Hunters official fan site and the bstage.in Instagram page for more details.
KPop Demon Hunters is an animated movie that tells the story of a fictional musical girl group called Huntrix, who face off against a rival boy band consisting of demons in disguise.
It became the most watched Netflix original movie of all time in August, racking up 236 million views since it was released in June.
It also topped the North American box office during its two-day theatrical debut in August.
