ULAANBAATAR: A magnitude 5 earthquake occurred in Tsetserleg soum, Khuvsgul province, on October 21, 2025, at 17:14:08 local time, according to the Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics of Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
The tremors were slightly felt in Bayankhairkhan, Numrug, Santmargaz, Songino, Tosontsengel, and Tsetsen-Uul soums of Zavkhan province, but no damage was reported.
