SINGAPORE: The Singapore Flyer’s operations are temporarily suspended after a technical issue was detected during a routine maintenance inspection.

The move is a “precautionary measure”, a spokesperson said in a statement on Sept 10.

While operations are suspended, shops and restaurants at the Singapore Flyer’s Retail Terminal will remain open.

“We are working closely with the Building and Construction Authority to conduct the necessary inspection, repairs and rectification works,” the spokesperson added.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused to our guests and business partners.”

Those with bookings made can contact the Singapore Flyer’s customer service team at customer_service@singaporeflyer.com. Otherwise, they can do so by calling 6333-3311.

Updates will be put up on the Singapore Flyer’s website and social media platforms, the spokesperson said.
