Alternative top rock group Barasuara is set to take the stage in Kuala Lumpur for an exclusive showcase, “Barasuara Live in Kuala Lumpur”, happening on Saturday (April 4) at the UTM Hotel & Residence KL.

The concert is presented by YOLO Malaysia, well-known for delivering high-quality events across Malaysia and the Nusantara region.

Renowned for their dynamic alternative rock sound and richly layered musical arrangements, Barasuara has carved a distinctive identity within Indonesia’s music scene and beyond. Their live performances are widely regarded as electrifying, offering an immersive experience that blends raw energy, emotional depth, and a strong connection with the audience.

According to a representative from YOLO Malaysia, the concert is expected to draw fans from across South-East Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia.

“Barasuara is a band that truly comes alive on stage. Their energy and musicality are unmatched, and we’re excited to bring that experience to fans in Kuala Lumpur,” the organiser shared.

The upcoming show will feature a selection of Barasuara’s most celebrated tracks, including fan favourites and viral hits such as “Pancarona.” Their track “Terbuang Dalam Waktu” has also gained wider recognition as the original soundtrack for the film Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan, Indonesia’s submission to the Academy Awards—further cementing the band’s growing international presence.

In addition, strong emphasis has been placed on production quality, with carefully curated sound and visual elements to deliver a fully immersive, high-calibre concert experience in line with international standards.
