Brunei travel fair offers exclusive deals, lucky draws


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Exciting exclusive travel offers and lucky draws as well as games are available at the much anticipated 20th Sabre Brunei Travel Fair set to take place on Sept 13 and 14 at Hall 1, Bridex International Conference Centre, Jerudong.

“Sabre Travel Network Sdn Bhd will achieve another milestone by hosting the 20th Sabre Brunei Travel Fair this weekend. As we mark the 20th anniversary of the Sabre Brunei Travel Fair, we remain committed to supporting the travel and leisure industry by providing a vibrant space for stakeholders to engage with consumers,” general manager of Sabre Travel Network Brunei Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman said during a press conference at the Emperor’s Court restaurant in Manggis Mall on Tuesday (Sept 9).

To enhance the customer experience, over 70 workstations and laptops will be deployed by 16 participating travel agencies, enabling efficient booking and management of travel content.

“This setup ensures a smooth and productive experience for both agents and travellers,” added Marketing Manager of Sabre Travel Network Brunei Mohd Shamiruddin Sharbini.

Regional Manager Borneo at Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) Lim Guat Wen said the airline will offer exclusive airfares tailored to various traveller segments including day-specific deals to Melbourne and South Korea, one-way specials to Balikpapan, Jakarta, Surabaya, Manila, and Chennai as well as ‘A North Asia Summer 2026’ promotional fare for the first time whereby the fares will be revealed just before the travel fair including Japan, South Korea, Taipei and Nanning as well as Beijing.

She added, ”We hope that everyone will be looking forward to a great travel fair again this year at Bridex hall. We hope that members of the public will visit the travel fair that will have activities from RB. We have 16 prizes to be given away and on the final day, we will have a grand draw for London. Exclusive games and gifts are on offer for guests spending BND500 or more on RB tickets in a single receipt (while stocks last).”

She expressed, “We’re excited to collaborate with our trade partners and engage the public through attractive fare offerings. We believe these deals will inspire travellers to book their dream destinations with RB.”

RB has also planned engaging activities for ticket purchasers, including daily lucky draws featuring eight prizes of 10,000 Royal Skies Miles and eight return economy class tickets to destinations such as Balikpapan, Ho Chi Minh, Manila, Bangkok, Singapore, Surabaya, Hong Kong and Incheon. In addition four grand prizes will be awarded: return economy class tickets to Melbourne, Narita, Beijing and Taipei.

Meanwhile Director of Tourism Malaysia Brunei Hazrina Azman commented, “Tourism Malaysia has always supported Sabre Travel Fair whereby we want to promote Malaysia to be one of the preferred destination for the Brunei market.“

She highlighted, “We have seven exhibitors this year from Labuan, Sabah, Sarawak, Malacca and Kedah. There will be special offers for people who purchase their packages and stays with the exhibitors. We also have games as well as quizzes for visitors.
