BANGKOK: On Tuesday (Sept 9) at 5.10pm, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was transferred by a Department of Corrections convoy from Bangkok Remand Prison to Klong Prem Central Prison to serve a one-year prison sentence.
This transfer came after the Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Persons Holding Political Positions issued a ruling earlier that morning, ordering Thaksin to serve his sentence.
