Brunei Sultan attends high tea in Singapore


SINGAPORE: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah attended a high tea hosted by Senior Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong at Grand Hyatt Singapore on Friday (Aug 8). Also in attendance was Lee Hsien Loong’s spouse, Ho Ching.

Prior to his appointment as Senior Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong served as the third Prime Minister of Singapore from August 2004 to May 2024. During that time, Lee and His Majesty worked closely together in strengthening bilateral relations between Brunei and Singapore, including cooperation at the regional and international level. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
