Flash floods kill eight people in Vietnam's Dien Bien Province, rescue efforts underway

DIEN BIEN, Vietnam (Bernama-VNA): Eight people have been confirmed dead and three remain missing after flash floods struck Vietnam’s Dien Bien province following continuous downpours from July 31 to Aug 1, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

Several others were injured and sent to nearby hospitals, while dozens of homes were damaged.
