Indonesia and China sign MoU on copyright cooperation

BEIJING: The National Copyright Administration of China and the Justic Ministry of Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on copyright cooperation in Geneva, Switzerland on Tuesday (July 8).

This memorandum has signified a deepening of cooperation between China and Indonesia in the field of copyright, playing a crucial role in expanding China's international copyright influence, particularly in strengthening copyright cooperation with South-East Asian economies, according to the administration.

Under the memorandum, China and Indonesia have agreed to further improve copyright cooperation by regularly exchanging legal and technical information.

They will also encourage mutual visits and training for copyright management personnel and other professionals to facilitate exchanges, and promote cooperation among collective management organisations for copyright, the administration said. - China Daily/ANN
