Vietnam tops medal at South-East Asia Karate Federation Championships which concluded in Brunei


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Xinhua): The 12th South-East Asia Karate Federation Championships concluded on Thursday in Brunei.

Vietnam topped the medal table with 28 gold, 31 silver, and 17 bronze medals.

Indonesia ranked second with 11 gold, nine silver, and 24 bronze, followed by Thailand and Malaysia.

Host nation Brunei earned one gold, one silver, and seven bronze medals.

The three-day championship, held in Brunei for the first time, drew more than 400 athletes from 10 South-East Asian countries and regions, competing across various age divisions. - Xinhua
