SINGAPORE: The only pair of breeding peregrine falcons in Singapore in April hatched two chicks that fledged earlier this month, which means they are able to fly and leave the nest.

This is the first record of the peregrine falcon – a bird of prey renowned for its speed – having chicks or eyasses in Singapore.
