Open day aims to enhance employability, marketability for Brunei job seekers


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: JobCentre Brunei (JCB) will be organising Hari Terbuka PPB, an annual event aimed at showcasing and promoting JCB’s services, initiatives and programmes to local job seekers.

The event will provide job seekers with the opportunity to register an account on the PPB portal, receive CV and interview tips from JCB’s certified career coaches, obtain job-matching consultations and to learn more about the available apprenticeship and upskilling programmes.

Local job seekers and members of the public who attend will also have the chance to listen to talks, forums and sharing sessions from industry experts, invited facilitators and representatives from relevant agencies on the importance of learning multiple skills to enhance employability and marketability.

The one-day programme will be held on May 22 at Cenderawasih Ballroom, Brunei Shell Recreation Club in Panaga, Seria in the Belait District from 8.30am to 12.15pm and will resume from 2pm to 4.30pm. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
