BANGKOK: Of four mild earthquakes recorded on Friday (May 2) morning, a 3.9-magnitude tremor struck Myanmar, while a 1.4-magnitude quake was felt in Mae Hong Son province, northern Thailand.
According to the Thai Meteorological Department’s Earthquake Observation Division, three of the quakes occurred in Myanmar, with magnitudes ranging from 2.0 to 3.9. Only one quake was recorded within Thai territory, in Mae Hong Son.
