BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A mini-exhibition highlighting Bruneian culture and traditions was held at the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Jefri Bolkiah Campus (JBC) on Tuesday (April 29), as part of a student project under the Melayu Islam Beraja (MIB) module.

A total of 21 students from the Diploma in Control and Automation Engineering Programme 2023/2026 participated in the initiative, which served as an assessment component of their MIB coursework.

The students were tasked with creating interactive and engaging displays that reflect the rich cultural heritage and identity of Brunei Darussalam.

Held at the Administration Lobby of the campus, the MIB Mini-Exhibition aimed not only to fulfil academic requirements but also to promote greater awareness among fellow students and the wider public about the importance of preserving national culture and traditions.

The exhibition was assessed by invited judges, including Education Officer at IBTE Agro Technology Campus Md Raimie Mazid and Lecturer at IGS International Graduate Studies College Md Syakirin Suhaimi.

The campus expressed hope that the exhibition would continue to serve as a platform for students to creatively explore and present Bruneian customs in a fun and meaningful way. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
