KOTA KINABALU: The long-awaited announcement of Stacy’s mega solo concert in her beloved hometown was finally made official during an exclusive media conference held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), packed with excitement and energy.
From as early as 3pm, members of the media, VIP guests, and fellow artistes arrived and mingled before being surprised by the grand entrance of Stacy herself, dressed in an all-white ensemble.
She performed three songs acoustically, “Pelangi Senja”, “Not For Sale”, and “Jahat” — against a breathtaking backdrop of the sea and sunset just outside SICC, creating one of the most magical and personal moments of the day.
One Concert, Endless Creativity
Stacy shared that “Aku Stacy Menggegar Kota U” is more than just a concert, it is a full expression of her creativity and stage artistry, dedicated especially to the people of Sabah.
“I want this concert to be a vibrant and high-energy experience, especially for all Sabahans. I’ll be flying in dancers from Peninsular Malaysia and combining them with local talents. Expect some surprises and special segments, because I can’t wait to shake up the SICC!” shared Stacy with passion.
An Iconic Couple Reunites On Stage
Among the most highly anticipated segments is a special duet performance by Stacy and her beloved husband, Akim Ahmad. Known for their charming stage chemistry, the couple promises a romantic treat that’s sure to melt hearts at the concert.
Akim also expressed his joy over the clear skies that blessed the outdoor media event. “It’s been raining everyday here, so we were really worried. But today, the weather turned out beautiful. Alhamdulillah, must be the power of everyone’s prayers,” he said with a smile.
A Homecoming Like No Other
Organised by Rhythm & Rhyme Entertainment and powered by U Mobile, “Aku Stacy Menggegar Kota U” will take place on June 21, 2025, atpm, live at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu.
Unlike any previous performance, Stacy is personally involved in every aspect of the concert, from the overall concept and musical arrangement to choreography and the creative team — making this her most authentic artistic expression yet.

This concert will also take audiences on a nostalgic journey through Stacy’s career, from her breakthrough with “Aku Stacy” to the fiery energy of “Menyala”, featuring brand-new musical arrangements, fresh choreography, and world-class visuals.
“Every song tells a story. I want everyone to leave the show feeling fulfilled, entertained, and inspired,” she added.

Ummu Shaikhah Stacy Binti Anam, better known as Stacy, is a singer from Penampang, Sabah, born on 18 August 1990.
"Stacy the Star" refers to the Malaysian singer Stacy Anam, known professionally as Stacy. She gained fame after winning the sixth season of Akademi Fantasia and has since released albums and singles, including her debut album, "Aku Stacy".
She is also recognised as the "Dancing Queen of Malaysia" and as a composer and lyricist under the name "Bunga Cantik".
