Community aid initiative brings festive cheer to Brunei families in need

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Mitsubishi Corporation held its Ramadan Charity Drive yesterday (March 16) as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, aiming to support underprivileged families and make a meaningful impact on the community in Brunei.

This marks the third consecutive year of the charity drive, with this year’s efforts focusing on providing assistance to underprivileged families registered under the Community Development Department in Temburong District.

Country Representative of Mitsubishi Corporation (Brunei Liaison Office) Tadashi Hara, joined the initiative, which provided families with daily necessities and festive treats to help ease financial burdens, particularly in preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya festivities.

Mitsubishi Corporation expressed hope that the initiative brings joy and relief to the recipients, while also encouraging others to extend support to those in need.
