PHNOM PENH: The government has cancelled multiple private development projects at Kampong Speu province’s Khnang Phsar tourism site, including the planned construction of a concrete road up to the mountain, in order to provide the local community with the opportunity to manage the area and offer services to tourists themselves.

Prime Minister Hun Manet announced the cancellations as he addressed a March 11 graduation ceremony at the Vanda Institute.
