Asean special envoy discusses Myanmar crisis with secretary-general


JAKARTA (Bernama): The newly appointed Special Envoy of the Asean Chair on Myanmar, Tan Sri Othman Hashim, met with Asean secretary-general Dr Kao Kim Hourn on Friday to discuss the ongoing crisis in Myanmar.

The two officials discussed the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus, including efforts to improve the delivery of humanitarian aid to Myanmar’s people amid ongoing challenges, according to the Asean Secretariat.
