Streaming exclusively on iQIYI the series started on February 14, 2025, in celebration of Valentine's Day festivites.

Featuring a stellar cast including Fadlan Hazim, Nadia Brian, Afiz Muiz, Eddy Syahir, Yaakob Abdul Aziz, Dato’ Eizlan Yusof, Zarynn Min, Hanna Halim, Faizul Syaharin, Adam Shahz, and Shatirah Amanda, this gripping drama is directed by Shuhaimi Zulkefli, produced by Metrowealth, and brought to life by writer Keetan Brenan.

Rayyan & Hawa – A Forbidden Love in the Mafia Underworld

Amidst the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur, two of the city’s most powerful crime cartels—the Salim and Borhan families—are locked in a ruthless battle for dominance.

Rayyan (played by Fadlan Hazim), the son of Salim, is determined to break free from his father’s legacy and escape the darkness that has consumed his life.

Fadlan Hazim shares, "Although Rayyan is a mafia, he remains steadfast in his principles, even though he is the son of the mafia leader."

Commenting on the uniqueness of the character Rayyan, he added, "Rayyan’s character is unlike any other because he yearns for a life without crime, even though he knows he will face risks by going against his own father, who is the leader of the largest cartel in Malaysia."

On the other hand, Hawa (played by Nadia Brian), the heiress of the Borhan family, dreams of transforming her father’s illicit empire while carving her own place in a world ruled by deception and brutality.

When asked about her hopes for the character of Hawa, Nadia Brian shared, "I hope all women out there can understand Hawa's feelings in this drama and why she is willing to make changes in her life for her family."

However, when a peace agreement turns into a bloodbath due to betrayal, chaos erupts. Unknowingly, Rayyan ends up protecting Hawa — the very enemy he was raised to despise.

Amidst gunfire and unraveling secrets, forbidden feelings begin to take root. But in a world where trust is the most valuable currency, can they defy fate and survive?

Jony Deng, General Manager of iQIYI Malaysia & Singapore, shared, “Bila Takdir Melarang Cinta is not just another love story—it’s a rollercoaster of action, emotions, and dilemmas that will keep viewers on edge. With its gripping storyline, powerhouse cast, and a love tested by trust, vengeance, and sacrifice, I believe this drama will become a fan favourite. Don’t miss it, only on iQIYI!”
