Royalty grace Chinese New Year open houses in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah Hassanal Bolkiah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and his wife Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Sarah Salleh Ab Rahaman consented to grace several Chinese New Year open houses on Jan 29.

Upon their arrival at the residence of Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin in Kampong Sungai Besar Jalan Kota Batu, they were greeted by the host, his spouse and other family members.

The royal couple consented to a group photo with Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin and family.

They also consented to visit the residence of businessman Jackson Ting where they were greeted by the host and his spouse, as well as his family members and a lion dance performance.

They royal couple also joined in the tossing of yee sang with members of the Ting family and consented to a group photo.

The royal entourage also consented to attend the open houses of Chieng Ing Nang and Lee Kok Tiong. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
