Thailand warns of cold weather in north and strong winds in gulf

BANGKOK: The Meteorological Department has issued its 7th weather advisory, warning of cold weather in upper Thailand and strong winds in the Gulf of Thailand, with impacts expected until Jan 28.

During Jan 27–28, a relatively strong high-pressure system or cold air mass from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. This will cause a temperature drop and strong winds in the area.
