Yoon’s pay up despite probe


THE annual salary of suspended President Yoon Suk-yeol has risen 3% in 2025, according to the country’s Ministry of Personnel Management.

The President, facing both trial at the Constitutional Court to confirm his impeachment and a separate investigation for allegedly leading an insurrection and committing abuse of power, now gets a monthly salary of 14.5 million won (RM44,400).
