Pabuk storm heads to Vietnam, bringing isolated rains to most of Thailand

BANGKOK: The tropical storm Pabuk over the lower South China Sea, centred at about 460km east of Ho Chi Minh, is moving west-southwest slowly to the eastern coast of Vietnam, the Thai Meteorological Department said in its weather advisory on Wednesday (Dec 24).

With the maximum sustained winds speed of 65 km/hour, the storm is likely to downgrade and present no direct effect to Thailand, the department said.
