Cambodia targets 70 per cent clean energy by 2030, says minister


PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodia aims to increase its renewable energy share to 70 per cent by 2030 from more than 62 per cent at present, Minister of Mines and Energy Keo Rattanak has announced.

Speaking at the annual conference of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Rattanak said construction work on 13 new power generation projects with a combined capacity of 1,275 megawatts (MWs) has been underway.
