Singapore: Over 17 years’ jail for woman, 73, who abused family friend almost to death

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/ANN0: A 73-year-old woman who, together with her family, abused an intellectually disabled woman they treated like a slave has been sentenced to 17 years and 10 months’ jail.

Hasmah Sulong had the most serious charges of her family. She is the last of the family members involved in this case to be convicted and sentenced.
