Football fans treated to legendary meet-and-greet in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Local football fans were star-struck during the meeting with two England football legends, David James and Glen Johnson, at a meet-and-greet during the AMG Day event at the Autohaus showroom Saturday (June 22) afternoon.

Visitors had the opportunity to have their jerseys signed and pictures taken with the legends.

At the event, both James and Johnson expressed their deep appreciation for the Brunei culture and cuisine despite it being their first visit to the country.

The legends also drew six winners to receive free tickets to a Pusat Ehsan charity football match at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium on June 28.

Jati Transport Sdn Bhd’s Executive Chairman Pengiran Anak Ja’afar ibni Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Mohd Alam, Executive Director Andrew Chiam and Service Manager Tommy Hart were also present at the meet-and-greet. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
