Laos seeks to solve acute labour shortage in country, many business operations badly affected


VIENTIANE (Xinhua): Lao authorities are seeking solutions to tackle the acute labour shortage issues, which has affected business operations across Laos.

Officials from the Lao Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Lao Federation of Trade Unions, and the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday discussed ways to address the labor shortage and a cooperation plan to solve the problem in the future, Lao National Radio reported on Friday.
