Pope Francis expected to visit Singapore in September

SINGAPORE: Singapore is in talks with the Vatican about a proposed visit by Pope Francis, which is expected to happen in September.

“Singapore welcomes a visit by Pope Francis,” a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman said on April 2 in response to queries from The Straits Times.
