SEOUL: The number of marriages in South Korea rose for the first time in more than a decade, but it hovered below the 200,000 level for three years in a row, data showed on Tuesday (March 19).
According to Yonhap news agency, around 194,000 couples tied the knot in South Korea last year, up one per cent from a year earlier, according to the data from Statistics Korea.
