Laos, Britain to strengthen trade cooperation


VIENTIANE: Lao Minister of Industry and Commerce Malaythong Kommasith (pic) met with British Ambassador to Laos Melanie Barlow and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, finance and business, local media said Thursday (Feb 29).

Malaythong called for more British businesses to invest in Laos and facilitate commerce by offering trade preferences for Laos, news website Lao Phattana News reported.
