Road accidents kill 1,590 people in Cambodia in 2023, down 7%

PHNOM PENH: The number of road fatalities in Cambodia declined to 1,590 people in 2023, a decrease of 7 per cent from 1,709 in the year before, said a report by the National Police on Thursday (Jan 18).

Besides death toll, the accidents injured 4,515 others in 2023, up 12 per cent from 4,026 in a year earlier, the report added.
