PHNOM PENH: The Cambodian national dragon boat team has made history by claiming gold at the 9th International Dragon Boat Regatta Races in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Although the sport’s overseeing body – the Cambodian Canoeing and Rowing Federation (CCRW) – achieved great success as the ingdom hosted the 32nd SEA Games in May, claiming two gold, two silver and four bronze medals, the federation said this was the first overseas victory for the dragon boat exponents.
