State sectors urged to address Lao inflation, weak kip


VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): The Lao People’s Revolutionary Party’s central committee has resolved action to adopt stronger measures to rein in inflation and stabilise the value of the kip, to ease the impacts on the general public.

The 11th Party Central Committee adopted the resolution at its seventh session, which took place in Vientiane from Oct 23-26.
