Beauty and health store ordered to close for violating regulations

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): A local beauty and health establishment was ordered to be closed for violating several regulations under Section 15, Chapter 241 of the Beauty and Health Establishments (BHE) Order during a recent inspection.

The offences included no medical examination check-up, workers not registered as medical practitioners under Chapter 112 and Section 18 (1), wearing inappropriate clothing under Section 13, not displaying licence from the BHE, locked door at treatment areas under Section 16(2), the violation of regulation policy, such as no customer registration, dirty premises, change of beauty and health services without approval and having an age limit.
