Thai murder suspect killed in shoot out


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The suspect in a shooting at a party in Nakhon Pathom province on Sept 6 that killed one highway police officer and injured another was shot dead by police in the early hours of Friday (Sept 8) in Kanchanaburi province.

Officials of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) tracked Thananchai Manmak, for whom an arrest warrant for murder was issued on Sept 7, to an abandoned building in Tha Reu district.
