Australia provides A$2mil to improve sanitation in Savannakhet

VIENTIANE (Vientiane TImes/Asia News Network): The Water for Women Fund set up by the Australian government has provided AU$2 million (more than 24.8 billion kip)​ to finance the Climate Resilient Rural WASH (CRWASH) services project in Laos.

The project aims to respond to challenges related to climate change and assist the government’s efforts to progressively improve equitable access to water and sanitation in 15 healthcare facilities and 50 schools in Phalanxay, Atsaphon and Champhon districts of Savannakhet province.
